Darin是2004年“瑞典偶像”的亚军，虽然并没有拿到冠军，但他出色的外型还是让很多人喜欢上了他。在比赛结束后他就发行了自己的第一张专辑，而且很快就拿到了当地排行榜的冠军。要知道，那时候他只有17岁，放弃学业追求自己的音乐理想。  

《B What U Wanna B 》是瑞典的Darin Zanyar演唱的，这是一首“励志”歌曲。Darin Zanyar1987年出生，2004年参加了瑞典的一个选秀节目（相当于中国的“超女”），起初受到一批青春美少女的追捧。但是尽管唱《B What U Wanna B 》，他还是没能做成他梦想的“超男”总冠军。  
虽然败北，但是Darin Zanyar的歌开始走红。除了《B What U Wanna B 》，《Sail The Ocean》（孙燕姿《心愿》的原版）也是非常受欢迎的。其实，国外的“超男”也成就了不少的歌手，比如Shayne Ward（肖恩－沃德） 、Lemar以及金曲《Cry On My Shoulder》《How Many Times》。
  
DARIN在2005年9月28日发行的同名专辑《Darin》。 B what U wanna B这首曲子童音的和音与darin的嗓音得到了完美的诠释，而在专辑中的Who`s that girl,更是让人如痴如醉的经典抒情歌曲。 在2006年11月，DARIN发行了他的第2张专辑<<Break the news>>主打歌<<Everything but a girl>>再次以情流露，洒脱自然轰动整个欧洲乐坛。顺便 说下：瑞典,区区小国竟然是世界第三大音乐出口国， 仅次于美国和英国这两个音 乐超级大国。 当然这种比较是很难得到证实的。不过有一点是肯定的， 即瑞典在国际音乐市场上取得了惊人的成就，尤其是在过去的十年中。 瑞典经常被人称作音乐工厂，不停地产出各种风格和流派的音乐----从流行音乐到重金属乐。 尤其在最具商业性的流行音乐方面，瑞典取得了令人瞩目的成就。 在这一领域中，除歌手外，歌曲作家和制作人更是享有国际声誉。 瑞典商业化的音乐已成为成功的代名。
